Harvard Management Company disclosed a $2.2 billion stake in SpaceX, making Elon Musk’s aerospace giant the largest position in the university’s publicly reported equity portfolio.

As of June 30, Harvard owned 12.9 million SpaceX shares valued at $2.21 billion, according to an SEC filing. The investment represented more than half of HMC’s reported $4.3 billion securities portfolio and exceeded the combined value of all its other disclosed holdings.
