Venture returns are decided by a handful of companies and disclosed to nobody but the fund's own investors. This board therefore ranks managers on capital raised, not on performance.

It sums the closed size of every venture fund on the register for a manager, counting only funds whose row links to the filing behind the number. Coverage is what the registers give us, so a firm that raises quietly or outside those regimes ranks lower than its reputation. Rows are filers, not corporate groups.
